NOT WRITING lately--

NOT WRITING lately, which bums me out.  This is Thurs.-almost weekend. Not that that makes a difference.  My TV has been out since spring, the lamp was out and needed replaced.  I got used to not having a TV, it was fixed this past Tues. and already I'm tired of commercials.  I  am amazed that some of this crap ever makes it on the air.  What are the people who buy advertising thinking, or not thinking?  They have dumbed down everything to the point that it's not funny, it flat doesn't make any sense.  I was watching movies on the comp, movies I never knew even existed, lol. Good old Netflix, it serves it's purpose though.  The best thing is it's commercial free, very easy to get used to.  No need to mute out the added garbage. For instance, Long John Silvers has a car parked outside with a man talking about fishing.  Kid says something like it's 6:30 in the morning, camera pans to the building (you couldn't see the storefront previously) and man says, you gotta get up early to catch one, ?????  I'm sure I mis-remember the commercial but mission accomplished, right?  I can sorta/kinda remember the commercial even splotch-ily, but it's memorable in its absurdity.  That's all the commercialized world  cares about-- that first impression and I'm tired of their mind games.  It turns me off so much that I don't want anything to do with their products, so commercial world, it's backfiring, at least on me.
